AVOID AT ALL COST
I recently spent three nights at Pullman Singapore Hill Street together with my colleague and I must say, my experience was FAR from satisfactory.
We were placed on the 4th floor (rooms 413, 414, and 415), which is the lowest floor of the hotel. This resulted in limited natural light in our rooms, as the tall buildings surrounding the hotel completely blocked any view. The ambiance was dark and uninviting due to the yellow lighting.
Additionally, there was an issue with the curtain track in room 414—it malfunctioned and fell partially inside the room, adding to our frustrations.
The worst moment came on the third night when I spotted a large cockroach in my room (413) around midnight. I immediately called the reception for urgent assistance. However, it took them 10 minutes to respond. When the housekeeper arrived, he was unhelpful, and I felt compelled to call reception again to express my dissatisfaction. What struck me as unprofessional was the complete lack of apologies from the staff I interacted with. They simply moved me to another room, and that was the extent of their response. As a result, I couldn't get to sleep until 1:30 AM.
I cannot believe that a hotel like Pullman would allow such issues to occur. The service level provided during my stay was truly unacceptable. I would advise others to avoid this hotel at all costs.
